DOX Centre for Contemporary Art 

DOX Centre for Contemporary Art was established through a private initiative with the mission to create a space for research, presentation, and debate on important social issues, where visual arts, literature, performing arts, and other disciplines encourage a critical view of the so-called reality of today’s world. DOX features a total exhibition area of more than 3000 m2, the DOX+ multifunctional space (capacity 400), the Gulliver Airship architectural intervention, a café, a bookshop, and an award-winning design shop.

Prague DOX Center for Contemporary Art launches the exhibition Art 19 - Art in the Light of Conscience. Eleven internationally renowned artists Gerhard Richter, Yoko Ono, William Kentridge, Emilia & Ilya Kabakov, Chiaru Shiota, Shilpa Gupta, Kiki Smith, Shirin Neshat, Ayse Erkmen, and Rosemarie Trockel responded to the Art 19 initiative to create unique works to promote human rights activities of Amnesty International.

Zakladatel Art for Amnesty, spoluzakladatel a generální ředitel Art 19 Bill Shipsey vás provede výstavou Art 19 s podtitulem Umění ve světle svědomí. Jedenáct mezinárodně uznávaných umělců - Gerhard Richter, Yoko Ono, William Kentridge, Emilija a Ilja Kabakovovi, Čiharu Šiota, Šilpa Gupta, Kiki Smithová, Širin Nešatová, Ayşe Erkmenová a Rosemarie Trockelová - vytvořilo deset unikátních děl.
